At the Lantern festival there are many performances. One of them was this Chinese Opera.

Children are given little lanterns to carry around. They’re made of paper and have little candles inside them.
Some children have electric lanterns like this one.
Another key activity at the Lantern Festival is solving riddles. Chinese riddles are written on long strips of colored paper and hung on a line for everyone to read. If you think you’ve got the answer, you tear it off the line and take it to an official. If correct, you win a prize!
