As mentioned before, holidays overseas seem to be made all the more special. We celebrated my 31st birthday and the America’s 230th birthday with good ol’ American hamburgers, German potato salad, deviled eggs, baked beans and banana pudding. No fireworks due to the rain, but thankfully I can buy them and light them off pretty much year round in China!
